Following the presentation of Isidoro Valc?rcel Medina and Bulegoa z/b at hetveem theater on Friday 18 February, as part of If I Can’t Dance’s Performance in Residence programme, the students of the Dutch Art Institute meet with the artist and the Basque initiative for a workshop on Saturday afternoon.

A starting point for conversation forms the glossary of definitions of words that Bulegoa z/b developed in collaboration with Valc?rcel Medina. These words, such as ‘knowledge’, ‘production’, ‘performance’, and ‘resistance’, are often used in a self-evident way in a variety of artistic contexts. This workshop is for students that are participating in the research project If I Can’t Dance coordinates at the Dutch Art Institute in 2010-2011.
