    2. For the January session, the workshop will start with a new lecture by Jon Mikel Euba entitled It’s good in here. Let’s get out! The lecture was written as a reflection on the group’s recent time together undertaking an intensive workshop at Tanakita Camping Ground in Sukabumi, Indonesia. The lecture will be live translated from Spanish to English.

Working from the idea of ‘abundance’, the workshop will continue by Euba selecting and presenting material from his practice that moves across oral, visual and textual forms of presentation. This may include the screening of a short film, a television program, and a lecture that Euba has looked towards as reference material; and the sharing of some notes on writing methodology, as time allows.

ACTION UNITES, WORDS DIVIDE (ON PRAXIS, AN UNSTATED THEORY) is a yearlong course conceived by artist Jon Mikel Euba at the invitation of and curated by If I Can't Dance, I Don't Want To Be Part Of Your Revolution. The course is coordinated by If I Can't Dance curator Susan Gibb.
