    2. Having read closely into the history of Appropriation Art in relation to the neoliberal history of New York City in the late 1970s, as well as reading into the Marxist footnotes of Isabelle Graw's text 'Dedication Replacing Appropriation', in the upcoming Reading Group we will now migrate to consider these understandings of 'appropriation and dedication' from different regional vantages.

For the first of these sessions we are very happy to have Daniela Castro joining us via Skype. Daniela is a writer and curator, and the organizer of our sister reading group in São Paulo. We will be reading a short essay by Daniela discussing Haroldo de Campos' concept of 'transluciferation'. In addition, we will read 'Exchanging Perspectives' by Eduardo Viveiros de Castro, which is an introduction to the ideas of 'perspectivism' and which was an early part of the readings of the São Paulo group.
