    2. On Friday 3 June, the Sister Reading Group in São Paulo will continue their ongoing Reading Group, which is currently focused on If I Can’t Dance’s research field of Edition VI – Event and Duration (2015–2016), and which takes place at their collective Studio, ateliê coletivo, located in downtown São Paulo at Rua Major Sertório, 234, República.

For the second meeting they will read a text by the contemporary writer, philosopher and curator, Paul B. Preciado, entitled ‘Saberes_vampiros@War’ (2006) and which was first published in the fifth edition of the magazine Multitudes.

Alongside this, the group will also read the chapter ‘O tempo da estrada’, from the book A queda do céu: Palavras de um xamã yanomami (2010), which translates as The Falling Sky: Words of a Yanomami Shaman. Written in collaboration by Davi Kopenawa and anthropologist Bruce Albert, the text provides first person account of the life story of Kopenawa, shaman and spokesman for the Yanomami of the Brazilian Amazon.
