    3. In March and April, the graduating year of SNDO—School for New Dance Development will present the first of two graduation works. These works will be presented across two programmes at two theaters in Amsterdam, and an exchange to Berlin.

The second programme will take place on 31 March, 1 and 2 April at Veem House for Performance, and will feature new work by Lester Arias, Ida Katinka Fridan Pedersen, Son of Mom, and Maciej Sado.

This follows the first programme presented at Frascati 4 on the 24, 25 and 26 March, and featuring new work choreographed by Nadia Bekkers, Sabine Cmelniski, Samira Elagoz, Tiana Hemlock-Yensen, and Maria Metsalu.

Both programs travel to Berlin in April, to be presented at Uferstudios within the context of an exchange between the Berlin based BA programme of HZT and SNDO.

The presentation of these works runs parallel to the graduating year’s engagement with the SNDO course ‘Curating and Performance’, which considers the notion of curating within the performing arts field. Within this course the students are engaged in dialogue around curatorial methodology and thinking, to assist them with the production and presentation of each programme and their work within it. The ‘Curating and Performance’ course is commissioned by SNDO, and conceived and led by Frédérique Bergholtz and Susan Gibb of If I Can’t Dance, I Don’t Want To Be Part Of Your Revolution.
