At the upcoming Reading Group session in São Paulo the group is reading a chapter from Zizek's book The Sublime Object of Ideology (1989). The chapter we will read is 'How did Marx invent the symptom?' and the discussion will focus on the question of form as the carrier of meaning, following on from the previous sessions on the novel Macunaíma by Mario de Andrade.
The São Paulo Reading Group will be coordinated by Paula Ordonhes and Graziela Marcheti for the next sessions.
