    2. To celebrate the publication of Fred Moten and Wu Tsang’s new book Who touched me? a launch will be held at the art and design bookshop, San Serriffe. The book is the companion to Moten and Tsang’s sculpture performance Gravitational Feel, tracing the work’s development and their lived experience of collaboration through a body of text, composed of email correspondence, notes, poetry, fragments of essays, and transcriptions of earlier collaborative work.

In the publication, they write of the book: “There it was, word for word, the book that took the place of a juke joint. The book that took place. The book that happened, and was gone, like a rocket stage, a kicked-away ladder. Let’s make a book you can walk through, all the way to the end of the book, out into the other side of the book. Incommunicado, a general communicability.”

On the evening Moten and Tsang will be joined by the publication’s designer, Will Holder, for a reading and a conversation.

Who touched me? is presented as part of If I Can’t Dance’s Finale for Edition VI – Event and Duration (2015 – 2016).
