1. Van der Heide S., Mother Earth Breathing, If I Can’t Dance, I Don’t Want To Be Part Of Your Revolution, Amsterdam 2014
    1. This publication is one of four volumes presenting the performance commissions developed within If I Can't Dance's Edition V – Appropriation and Dedication (2013–2014).

In the work entitled Mother Earth Breathing, Sara van der Heide contemplates the reciprocal relations that exist between the earth, the body and breath through the notion of life’s circularity. The performance, that consisted of a film projection and interaction by van der Heide, was premiered during If I Can’t Dance’s Performance Days in November 2014, where it was presented once at sunrise and once at sunset. The volume about Mother Earth Breathing includes an essay by academic Nikos Papastergiadis, and artists’ pages related to the film.
